PSG proposed to Replace Kylian Mbappé with Lamine Yamal over uncertainty of Mbappe departure

The Spanish press reports that PSG has tried to recruit young Lamine Yamal to replace Kylian Mbappé, pending departure.

While Kylian Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid is increasingly certain, Paris SG continues its search to find a replacement for the French international. According to the Marca newspaper, one of the favorites of Qataris is none other than Lamine Yamal.

The young striker was the favorite candidate of the Parisians to compensate for the possible departure of the Habs. This same source specifies that the Ile-de-France club was so sure of its choice that it was ready to negotiate with FC Barcelona and pay about 200 million euros to afford the services of Spanish crack.

Aware of PSG’s interest, Barcelona leaders received a visit from Agent Jorge Mendes to start negotiations, but the Catalan club’s response was not the one PSG expected.

FC Barcelona reportedly announced that it did not intend to sell Lamine Yamal, considered one of the greatest talents from Masia, Barça’s training center.

At only 16 years old, Lamine Yamal already plays an important role within the club with 6 goals and 7 assists in 37 matches in all competitions.
